Overview

As a UX/UI Designer at Ropstar, one of the companies of Polymath Ventures, I crafted an intuitive and navigable interface for a thriving second-hand clothing marketplace for Latin America, prioritizing a swift, satisfying, and secure transactional experience for both buyers and sellers. A Glimpse Inside Polymath Ventures

Check out this gallery to discover Ropstar's highlights, including its sleek, contemporary design and user-friendly navigation. Each aspect has been meticulously crafted to enhance the shopping and selling journey within this marketplace.

Through extensive research of our sellers and the constant feedback we received, we were able to reduce the bounce rate on seller registration by up to 38% by implementing an optimized onboarding process. The new flow also allowed us to filter out real sellers and obtain better quality stores. The results were almost immediate after implementation.

Using the Hotjar tool and its heatmap analysis, I optimized the product page to boost the add-to-cart action. By reorganizing the product information to prioritize the most relevant data, using informative cards that inspire confidence, and positioning the purchase button in a floating way on mobile devices, I achieved a notable increase in user interaction and purchase effectiveness.

After a lot of research, which included benchmarking, heatmap analysis, review of screen recordings, and gathering user feedback, we perfected the product filters on Ropstar. This meticulous approach allowed users to navigate easily and find their favorite clothes comfortably. The optimization had a positive impact, reflected in the excellent reviews about the experience on the platform.

Collaborating closely with the team, we launched an innovative second-hand fashion app that transforms the discovery of clothes. With an interactive product swiper and a quick checkout process to acquire matching items, we significantly improved the ability of sellers to market their items and made it easier for buyers to find unique clothes that are often difficult to find in traditional online stores.
